Summary: Betting against Alex is usually a bad idea... or maybe not?

I won the bet.

Even after the third check, the text message hadn’t changed. Betting against Alex was usually futile and led to embarrassing amounts of crowing.

I won the bet.

Yep, still there.

It could be worse. The terms were bearable, if inevitable, and he had promised. He flopped onto the bed, unfazed by the apartment door opening without warning.

Milos smiled back, accepting Alex’s warm mouth against his own, offering himself up. Definitely worth throwing the bet.
